8 Russell Street

Another home on offer is a single-bedroomed, mid-terraced house at 8 Russell Street, in Swadlincote, listed for sale with a guide price of £14,000-£19,000.

With gardens front and rear, the house is laid out with a reception room and kitchen downstairs, bedroom and bathroom with WC upstairs.

Gurpreet Bassi, chief executive of Bond Wolfe, said: “This house needs renovation and modernisation but would make the ideal starter home for first time buyers with some DIY skills, or might suit a buy-to-let investor looking to increase their portfolio.

“Our December livestreamed auction features a broad range of properties from across Derbyshire offering great value, and they are certain to prove a big draw for bidders.”

58 Lewis Street

Also in need of refurbishment and modernisation throughout is the three-bedroomed, mid-terraced house at 58 Lewis Street, Derby, listed with a guide price of £68,000+.
